The Clown

March 2, 2008
8 1/2" x 11"
lightbox line worktracing markerspens greyscale

This piece is based-on a large, blue and green tinted painting that my godparents had hanging in their house while I was growing-up. It was in my possession for quite a few years, while I owned a house, but I returned it to them at some point. Personally, I thought the painting was creepy (in a good way) but became a little concerned that visitors also found it creepy (but in a bad way).
