It’s been a while since I’ve done anything but paint stones. That all started around the time I drew the lines for this piece. Can’t pin-point the date, but I’m fairly certain I’d decided to take my trip out west in October around this time, so I began focusing on stones for the trip. I’ve been a waste of space since I returned in late-October, so I pulled-out this sketchbook with the intention of starting something new, but here was this unfinished piece. It’s not within me to let something like that lie so I unenthusiastically and/or reluctantly and/or hate-finished this piece and the sloppy nature of it all shows that. Anyway, hope it kick-starts something in the old inspiration department.
