Dumpster Fire 2020

About a month before Christmas, an ad popped-up on a social media platform for a Christmas tree ornament depicting a dumpster on fire with “2020” written on it. I thought about buying some as gifts, but procrastinated as usual, so in typical fashion I put this print together a few days before Christmas and made them into ornaments. The print is composed of two reduction prints: the dumpster itself in two stages, and the flame in three stages. The ornaments were printed on brown recycled paper, but given the nature of the reduction print technique, I printed a few on white paper for the fun of it.
