Painted Stone #11

October 11, 2020

My brother and I combined our hikes from the past two Sundays into a single 12-mile haul on the Buckeye Trail today, so I got to visit two previous placements. The first was the #9 stone, which was a creepy eye placed in a tree knot. That stone was gone, so I placed this new creepy eye in the same knot. I’d planned to place another stone where I’d placed the #7 stone, but it was still there after two weeks! The stone was placed in a knot of a tree on the Buckeye Trail in Cuyahoga Valley National Park on October 11, 2020.

This is one of a series of stones featuring the same theme placed in the same spot:

  • Stone #9
  • Stone #17
  • Stone #22
