Dispersed: October 11, 2023
Location: Gunnison, Colorado

This stone was made specially for a cross-country trip to witness an eclipse in Utah in October of 2023. While working at the Burrito Buggy in Athens, Ohio, in the late-1990s, I met my friend, Kurt. We had similar tastes in music, film and humor, which made our late nights serving the drunken masses of Ohio University together a bit easier. He moved to Gunnison, Colorado, at some point and I finally got to visit him there on my second road trip in the spring of 2022. This stone was made in anticipation of my second visit in 2023. I’m already wheezing.
