Dispersed: July 8, 2026
Location: Middle Bass Island, Lake Erie

My grandparents owned a small cottage on Middle Bass Island and I spent many, many summers visiting them there, until they sold it in the summer of 2004. In the summer of 2019, my brother and I began taking camping trips to the state parks on the Bass Island. I found this stone during a previous visit to Middle Bass Island in 2004 and knew what I’d do with it because it’s shaped like the island itself. After holding onto it for about two years, I finally had the chance to deliver it in the summer of 2026.
