Painted Stone #22

December 14, 2020
2 1/4" x 2"
eyes painted stones paint pensstone

On December 14, 2020, I placed the fourth eye-themed stone in this spot on the Buckeye Trail between Blue Hen Falls and Jaite, which is to the north. There will probably be more because I like tradition and eyeballs are easy.

On the back is the inscription:
“An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind. ~M. Gandhi”

Did he actually say it? I don’t know, but Ben Kingsley said it in the movie.

This is one of a series of stones featuring the same theme placed in the same spot:

    • Stone #9
    • Stone #11
    • Stone #17
