El Fénix is a fictional luchador who I created to serve as the mascot of a series of parties I hosted that honored the passing of my friend, John Puglia. For me, El Fénix was essentially John rising from the ashes so that he could attend the parties in spirit.

A Tribute to the Art of John Puglia – A site I built sharing some of John’s creative work

El Fénix: El Guardián del Fuego – A blog entry of mine discussing John and “Los Guardianes de la Llama”, the themed parties I held in his honor

Submission #1

Name: Kylie and Dylan
Date: July 26 2023
Location: Cuyahoga valley off Perkins trail

My boyfriend and I were hiking and saw a cool abandoned machine and we went over to explore it and he saw it. He had no idea that these rocks were a thing and I had to explain that we have to rehide it somewhere.
