This is print #13 showing the Red-Black-White scheme which was the most prevalent in the series. Print #35 shows the original Gold-Black-White scheme I'd planned on using, but the gold ink wasn't opaque enough and it wasn't different enough from the paper stock to stand-out. Print #36 shows an attempt to add black ink to the red in hopes of making it a bit more opaque, but it failed. A red acrylic paint pen kind of made it work, though.

Read my blog post about the creation of this print.

Since I was lazy putting together a card for the holidays, I decided to create one to wish everyone a happy new year instead. Upon searching the internet for inspiration, I decided to recreate this design by Catherine Culvernor.

The first picture shows a Pink-Black-White scheme which turned-out to be the best combination because it made “Happy New Year” opaque enough to stand-up against the black “Twenty Twenty Two” below it. Unfortunately, I didn’t make the adjustment until the final 9 prints. The remaining 25 prints used the Red-Black-White scheme and weren’t as effective.
